The Lord instructed Moses to place a bronze serpent on a pole for the people of Isreail to look at when they were bitten by a serpent. This would heel them. This pole went om to become our symbol for medicine. It is still on ambulances today

The Gospels state that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joseph, Judas and Simon. They also mention that He had sisters but they are not mentioned. The Roman Catholic Church believes that Mary remained a virgin her entire life. The Church considers the sibilings to be His cousins. The Eastern Orthodox Christians believe them to be stepbrothers and stepsisters brought into the marriage by Joseph.

Five prophesies by Jewish prophets prediting the coming of a new Messiah:

  1. A great star will rise.
  2. A baby will be born in Bethlehem.
  3. The child will be a diret descendant of King David.
  4. Powerful men will travel from afar to worship him.
  5. the child's mother must be a virgin.

The Tower of Babel

The whole earth had one language. The Lord goes down to the people to confuse their language so they may not understand each other. The name was called Babel because there the Lord confused the language of the earth. And from there the Lord dispersed them over the face of the earth. Hence,when a person is using confusing language we say that he is babeling.
