A Few Of My Not So Favorite Things (1/26/2022)

Rule makers that are rule breakers.
Politicians, news media, and celebrities that tell us to do one thing while they do the complete opposite.
Health care centers who claim they cannot treat you unless you have an appointment but then turn you away at your scheduled time because of the large number of "walk-in" patients.

Waiting in line at the store behind a person digging through their pockets or purse for loose change.
This is nothing but a waste of time. Give the clerk the extra dollar and pocket the change. When you get home dump it in a jar. After a few months the jar will be filled and you have found money.

The guy who parks next to me in a parking lot.
I purposely park as far away from my destination to avoid any possibility of my car being scraped or a tight squeeze opening the door.

When a car pulls out in front of me and then proceeds to hold me up by going well below the speed limit.

Trying to find an open cash register to make a purchase.
The most important part of any business is revenue. The point-of-sale transaction should be given the highest priority. Not stocking shelves and cleaning display windows.

Stores trying to sell credit cards at the cash register.
I'm in line to buy a shirt but I have to wait for the guy in front of me to fill out a credit card application so he can save 10% on his purchase.

Being on time for a doctor's appointment only to sit in the waiting room for another half hour.
Our time is just as valuable as the doctors.

Airlines losing luggage .
I recently laughed at Johnny Carson when he joked of this on re-broadcast episode in 1979. Then it happened to me and it was not so funny. Amazing after all these years how some thinkd never change.
